The ice rink is almost ready! It’s at the back of the cathedral at the Cours Saint-Pierre. (Line 1 Duchess Anne go north .. the opposite direction to the tour Lu and you can’t miss it … Exit Giggs pub go past the Cathedral and you’re there) It’s putting on 1cm of ice daily at the moment 🙂
It’s a bit of a tradition as every year it’s there and every year I say oh that’d be kinda cool to do and … I never get around to it. Maybe this year will be different
From this Saturday the 22nd of December until the 6th of January, every day from 10am until 8pm (tills close at 7pm), you’ll be able to go ice skating (and yes that includes Christmas Day and New Years) You’ll need to bring your own gloves and there’s no cloak room. It’s 2€ for 2 hours? You’ll also be able to get helmets and some protective gear for kids there. (Kids need to be 4+)
Of course the rest of the year you could just go to the https://www.patinoire-nantes.fr/ but it’s just not the same 🙂
