If you’ve ever been to the little kiddies play ground at the Grand Blottereau you’ll know there was a sequoia tree trunk with a carved out door frame? in it. The kids loved it.
Sadly it’s no more as I found out when we tried visiting the Glass houses for the free guided tour.
It was sculpted by Jean-Claude Lambert. When they were recently checking out the trunk they deemed it to be potentially unsafe. So down it came.
Will it be replaced? Hopefully!
