So if you feel like getting out of the house this weekend it’s the Folie des Plantes once again however this year it’ll be in a little bit of a different format. Masks will be required. There’ll only be Sellers / Artists on site selling their wares. No food / drink / Entertainment (However if you’re feeling peckish or fancy a tea? The Little Britain Cafe has opened up and it’s just opposite the park

When? Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th September 2020 from 10AM – 6:30PM

Where? The Grand-Blottereau Park (quartier Doulon) – Boulevard Auguste-Peneau à Nantes

Entry: FREE!!!

How to get there there? Take the line 1 tram and stop at Mairie de Doulon. Then you should follow the crowds / signs it’s about 400 meters away.

Alternatively take the Bus Line 12 and stop at Grand-Blottereau

If you’re coming by car there’s generally some parking available but there can be a high demand for it (Not to mention some roads closed off) so be prepared for a bit of a walk.

This year there’s going to be no food / drinks / entertainment … it’s all about buying plants.

Pas de thématique, animations, conférences ou associations non marchande. La 33e édition de la Folie des plantes, les 5 et 6 septembre 2020, se concentre sur l’essentiel : le marché aux plantes. « Nous avons voulu préserver le fond même de la Folie, un marché où les gens peuvent acheter des végétaux », explique Franck Coutant, chargé de l’évènementiel au service des espaces verts et de l’environnement de la Ville de Nantes, qui organise la manifestation florale et horticole depuis plus de trente ans.
