As I posted up last week … the Carnaval workshop was open last Saturday and Sunday to the public. It’s always worth a wander around it with the kids (Unfortunately I just stopped by on Sunday on the way to the market) the weather was pretty bad in the afternoon.

As always if you can make it to the Soullarderie tram stop it’s easy enough to find.

You can take a wander around and as always have a chat with the people working on the floats.

This year was slightly different though as I found out a neighbour was working on this float. Nantes gets smaller and smaller the longer you’re here 🙂

I’m sure my cats won’t be too impressed with this one! 😮

Not too sure who loves the Rastafarians but they always seem to make an appearance

I’ll save you from the 50 other photos 🙂 Did you make it across and get any nice photos?

The Carvnaval de Nantes takes place on the 29th of March the 1st and 4th of April
